This is something i started very recently. I own an old Ernemann 9x12 cm.
Since this is a plate camera it doesnt make sense to put film in its holders.
It was originally design to hold glas plates with the emusion on it.
But i worked around it by putting photopaper in it.

The photopaper i used has hard contrast a very low speed and is not sensitiv to red light.
So for right exposure i had not only to meter the light but also the amount of red in it.

This leads to very long exposure times, especially indoors, where there is a great
amount of red in the light.

Unfortunaltley the camera is very old (from 1907) and has some light leaks.

This are some of the results i got.

the exposuretime was 2 minutes. it was difficult to ceep georgy sitting for this time. he moved his head a lot.

I really like the look of the pictures and the process of picture taking with such a camera.
Its very different to the digital prozess of picture taking.

Now i purchased a linhof technica model III Type1 with a Rodenstock Sironar 150mm. I already took some shots.
But since i am not able to develope the negatives here i will have to wait until i come back to austria.
As soon as i have them scanned in i will post them here.
