this scifi B-movie is set in the far future on a distant planet.
The
movie starts a bit lame, and pics up a little bit after a few minutes.
Than there are 30 minutes which are actually pretty good. The cutis in the whole movie quite good. The special effects are okish for a B movie
For my taste the actors are a bit too good looking. they have a very generic look, but are somewhat believable still. the costumes are like in most new movies unbelievable. they look too stylish. technology in general is well represented.
the actors are mediocre. but i guess the problem is more the writing and less the actors. the emotions of the actors are hard to follow. People are druged in one moment and critically sober in the next, jut to be wild again in the next scene and so on....
the dialogs are mediocre. the action is well made in most parts.
actors have always the same beart, even if the scenes are supposed to be years apart.
there
are monsters in the movie. they look somewhat believabel, because they
look quite bad. They are 100% practical effect, which is good, but
still they look dump. They are a little bit like an alien copy actually. but a bad one.
the german synchronisation is OK.

good, well-made piece of cinema. must see!

crafted and executed, on the highest level in any meaning. Alltime best of the best
